Starting to wonder if I should turn Registration off on my Gitea server since all I have is people trying to use it like Facebook or Twitter instead of using it like GitHub for coding. It's really sad too because I wanted to host a place where people could just come in and code projects on a server that is in a k3s cluster but instead all I have is scammers or spammers just clogging up the server with their shit or better yet just to create accounts because they can. What is worse is that I could Enable CAPTCHA but that will not stop them since it seems real people are making the accounts and not bots. Well, it is what it is I guess.

You know what they say "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me". Well, I have a third line on that and it's "Fool me three times I'll give you no more opportunities to get extra from me in any form". That means if someone wants to buy equipment IT or otherwise take the time to listen and consider the offer. Don't just blow them off otherwise you will have a hard time getting rid of equipment you can't use anymore.

You know it hit me that if the politicians have such a problem with Facebook, X, YouTube, and so on, why don't they create a Mastodon node? They could host in the same place that https://www.whitehouse.gov is being hosted. They could then encourage people to either join a Mastodon node or host their own fediverse node be it Friendica, Mastodon, or whatever they like.

Write your senator they said. They will help you they said. Just for them to have an office aide tell you "Sorry sir that's not how things work". This explains why the U.S. is so fucked up.

One can tell they pissed off people in the fediverse. More so when ones server dies and gets brought back online after three months just to see some server be gone. I guess I can understand that to a point but it just shows me that fediverse has gotten just as bad if not worse than social media platforms right now.

I wonder who else is having problems with the Vier Theme when it comes to Friendica? Why I ask is there seem to be errors happening in that Theme that don't happen in the Frio theme. What's cool is that I'm starting to like the black accented color scheme, so I'm happy. I wish Facebook was this customizable, but it is what it is.

Well, I just got over the most shitty bug anyone could ever get. It got shittier with the fact I still had to do my Caregiver duties. Yeah, that's right Caregivers don't get leave of any kind.

I don't often ask for help with supporting anything but maybe some of you could help my Old Man. While I'm not particularly close to him I know that his current wife, the two sons he has with his current wife, My Mother (his ex-wife), and my brother are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it seems that it's a PHP issue that was addressed in a Release Candidate of Friendica but for some reason did not make it to the friendica:stable when I grabbed it today. Either way, it works. It just looks a little off right now.

Well I had to rebuild Friendica again due to a mariadb issues. It seems to be working other than having errors like "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/view/theme/vier/theme.php:221) in /var/www/html/src/Core/System.php on line 307" but I'm sure I can fix them. Boy, it's good to be back.
